A Three-Day Culinary Escape | July 15th  - 17th 2026

In collaboration with Sera — bringing people and food together.

This three-day journey along Sweden’s west coast brings together open-fire cooking, Nordic creativity, and the relaxed energy of summer on the Scandinavian shoreline. Built around the legendary Holy Smoke BBQ Heyday Festival — where a who’s who of Scandinavia’s (and beyond) most exciting masters of smoke, fire, and mixology come together — the tour offers a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of flavour and craftsmanship. Blending the raw excitement of live-fire barbecue with some of the region’s most compelling contemporary dining experiences, it creates a seamless short escape that moves effortlessly between festival atmosphere and refined gastronomy.

We begin by immersing ourselves in the vibrant world of Heyday — a gathering that celebrates smoke, fire, and community, where some of the most exciting voices in modern barbecue and some of the Nordic's most talented chefs and bartenders come together for a day of flavour, music, and collaboration. From there, the journey shifts towards a more contemplative pace, exploring the surrounding landscape through a visit to the famous Kullabergs vineyard where we will enjoy a wine tasting with snacks before continuing on to two standout restaurants that showcase the depth and evolution of Nordic cuisine.

Dinner at Fyr, helmed by Jacob & Emelie Holmström, formerly of two Michelin star Gastrologik in Stockholm, Fyr offers a modern, expressive approach to seasonal cooking, rooted in fire and the natural rhythms of the region, while Signum, which currently holds two Michelin stars and a coveted green star — located within the beautiful Hällsnäs Hotel — provides a serene and immersive dining experience overlooking the water, where technique, restraint, and Nordic purity come together with quiet confidence.

Throughout the tour we will stay in a collection of carefully selected hotels that reflect the character of the Swedish west coast, including the relaxed seaside elegance of Hotel Tylösand, the coastal charm of Hotel Visit Örestrand, and the tranquil lakeside setting of Hällsnäs itself. Each stop has been chosen not only for comfort, but for its connection to the landscape and atmosphere that make this region so special in the height of summer.

This is a tour designed to balance energy with calm — from the fire and movement of Heyday to the precision of Nordic fine dining — offering a rare opportunity to experience Sweden through its food, its scenery, and the people shaping its culinary future

I am thrilled to announce that by popular demand we are now offering a second Faroe Islands Tour in September 2026.

When I visited the islands recently, I realised that the combination of incredible food, dramatic scenery, and deep local culture was simply too special not to share. Over four unforgettable days, 12 lucky guests will join me for an immersive, all-in culinary journey through this extraordinary destination.

Together, we’ll explore the very best of Faroese gastronomy:

Restaurant Ræst, where chef Sebastian Jiménez weaves his Mexican roots into the islands’ traditional fermentation techniques, and where Karin Visth has just been awarded the Special Service Award by Denmark’s White Guide — the same guide that named Ræst one of the country’s best restaurants.

Restaurant Paz, where former Koks chef Poul Andrias Ziska has already earned a well-deserved two Michelin stars in record time.

Restaurant Áarstova, famed for its traditional Faroese lamb and seafood, served in a beautifully restored historic house in the heart of Tórshavn.

The tour also includes a truly unique Skerpi Experience — an intimate lunch beside a calm fjord where seafood is lifted directly from the water, prepared moments later, and served in a small wooden hut that perfectly captures the purity and simplicity of Faroese cooking.

One of the most magical moments of the tour will be an open-fire breakfast in the kitchen gardens of Restaurant Ræst, set right on the edge of the sea. As the fire crackles, we’ll gather overlooking a sweeping stretch of coastline, surrounded by the same herbs and plants used in Ræst’s fermentation-driven cooking. With the scent of smoke in the air and waves rolling in beneath us, this simple, elemental breakfast becomes something unforgettable — a rare chance to experience Faroese produce, landscape, and tradition in their purest form.

To elevate the journey even further, we’ll head out on a boat adventure to Hestur–Klæmintsgjógv, exploring sea cliffs, hidden grottoes, and one of the most impressive sea caverns in the North Atlantic.

We’ll also hike the iconic Trælanípa trail, finishing at the spectacular lake-over-ocean viewpoint and the dramatic waterfall that plunges straight into the Atlantic — one of the Faroe Islands’ most breathtaking natural sights.

We’ll stay at the stunning Hotel Føroyar, where every guest enjoys a sea-view room and full access to the hotel’s serene Ress Spa — the perfect place to unwind each day.

What’s included?
When I say all-in, I mean it. The tour includes:
✈️ Return flights from Copenhagen

🏨 Three nights’ accommodation with breakfast and spa access at Hotel Føroyar in their sea-view rooms.
🍽️ All meals at the featured restaurants with curated wine (or non-alcoholic) pairings
🚐 All transfers in Faroe Islands including airport pickup and restaurant transport
🐟 The Skerpi Experience lunch by the fjord
🔥 An outdoor open-fire breakfast in the kitchen gardens of Restaurant Ræst, set right on the seashore
🚤 A boat tour to Hestur–Klæmintsgjógv
🥾 A guided hike to Trælanípa and the waterfall

The price of this tour is £3995 based on double/twin (where available) room occupancy. There is a £500  single occupancy supplement.

A rare insider’s journey into Burgundy

This experience has been designed as a privileged immersion into Burgundy’s most confidential wine world, guided by one of the region’s most respected sommeliers. Through long-standing relationships and deep local knowledge, he opens doors that are typically closed to the public, offering access to both iconic estates and discreet, family-run domaines.
Alongside these exceptional tastings, the journey is enriched with iconic cultural visits, offering a deeper understanding of Burgundy’s heritage and history.
More than a wine tour, this is an intimate encounter with the people, the land, and the philosophy behind some of the world’s most revered wines.

Burgundy is one of the most revered wine regions in the world. Yet its greatest wines are rarely discovered in tasting rooms. They are born in small, family-run domaines hidden behind discreet doors in the villages of the Côte d’Or, where generations of winemakers quietly craft some of the world’s most sought-after bottles. Through long-standing relationships with a handful of Burgundy’s most respected producers, Achefabroad, together with my partners in France can open doors that are normally closed to visitors. Guests are welcomed by the winemakers themselves to explore their vineyards, their cellars and the philosophy behind their wines, often tasting rare cuvées produced in extremely limited quantities

Burgundy produces some of the most limited wines in the world. Many of the cuvées tasted during this journey are produced in extremely small quantities and rarely opened outside the domaines themselves. Tasting these wines in the company of the winemakers offers a rare and privileged insight into Burgundy’s legendary terroirs.

While the heart of this journey lies in the vineyards and cellars, meals take place in carefully selected restaurants known for their authentic regional cuisine and exceptional Burgundy wine lists.

Rather than focusing on formal fine dining, Achefabroad favours restaurants where Burgundy’s culinary traditions and wines come together naturally.

For each meal, our expert guides curate the wines served at the table, ensuring remarkable pairings and the opportunity to continue discovering Burgundy’s great terroirs throughout the experience.
